On the nights when your body is wired and your chest won't unclench, gentle weight can help. Many grieving moms tell me a weighted blanket is the only thing that lets their body rest, even when their mind won't.
A good rule of thumb: choose a blanket around 10% of your body weight. Go lighter, not heavier, if you're between sizes. A removable, washable cover is worth it — this blanket will get a lot of use.
Not a cure for anything. Just a little more softness for the hardest hours.
